When i first looked at the Inception movie poster, I was like...'meh..? Leonardo again?' And when i heard the movie was about dreams, I thought it was gonna be like another 'Shutter Island' story. If u read my previous post, I felt that the movie was like a failed 'mind-fuck' story. What i missed when looking at the Inception poster was the director's name. It was CHRISTOPHER NOLAN. If u were me and u don't know who in the world is Christopher Nolan, then i suggest u should just kill yourself. He is the genius who directed The Dark Knight.
I think he is a genius because i don't think anyone has ever created a movie about lucid dreaming. In the coolest and intelligent way ever. Not that i ever heard of others who did stories of the same theme before. But oh well. Anyway, the casts were the most awesome people to be on big screen together. Leonardo DiCaprio + Ken Watanabe + Joseph Gordon-Levitt + Ellen Page + Cillian Murphy = AWESOME GROUP EVER! Gordon and Cillian are like the two most hottest things ever. It was really eye candy for me. And i didn't know lucid dreaming can be so cool. A dream within a dream...don't u think about it sometimes..?
The movie is 2 and a half hours long. But if u shut up and concentrate while watching the movie, u won't be disappointed. It definitely didn't waste my $6 even though i got the seat on the 2nd row.... Though i wished i booked the tickets earlier to enjoy the movie fully. Like i said, Christopher Nolan is genius. Not all movies are as original as this with a whole lot of good looking casts. I'm definitely gonna buy the dvd when it comes out.
The Dark Knight is also another movie that i can't get enough of. Nolan (and Heath Ledger) bring the character Joker to a completely new level which i don't and can't imagine anyone to be able to play that role. So I hope that for the next Dark Knight movie it would still be as awesome as the 1st even though there won't be any Joker in it :o(
Oh yeah Nolan told confirmed during an interview that Joker will not return. Boo-hoo-hoo...
