Meet Up

I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on last Saturday (again!). With Holly and other few people. Becoz it's been a long time since i seen them. Timothy who used to be fat, has now slim down a WHOLE lot till at one point i can't recognize him when i was talking to Hols!

I should have blog about this last week but I've watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1! Personally i don't like the movie. I only like the movie posters, the tale of the 3 deathly hallows(more on the animation), Harry, Snape, Hermoine, and Draco(Tom Felton!). The posters look so goooood! haha i like the poster of Snape and Bellatrix. Omgosh i'm gonna share them with u now!

A pity Draco didn't appear much in the story. Coz i wanted to see Tom Felton. That actor is getting hotter and hotter as he grow up! I'm actually a fan of him ever since he acted in Anna an the King. It was like wat.. a one-day crush!? hhahah i remember in Anna and the King, the monks were meditating and chanting prayers and Louis(the character he's playing) said it sounds like a bee-hive and i kept laughing. i know it's like so racist of him to say that but it was cute! And now he's all grown up and he has millions of Draco-fans. Oh and Holly likes Draco too! see.. We're not the best of friends without a reason :D We practically like almost the same things without knowing it! And Tom is like a total opposite of Draco actually. He's such a funny guy!

Son of Babylon

Rite now I am at my workplace. I know this is not the right time to blog but this has been on my mind lately and its bugging me. Last Tuesday, me, Saiful and Kairos watched Son of Babylon. The show made a huge impact on me...

Synopsis: A willful young boy follows his just as obstinate grandmother in a journey across Iraq, determined to discover the fate of her missing son, Ahmed's father, who never returned from war.

April 2003, three weeks after the fall of Saddam. A journey through Iraq, a troubled land where no one knows what lies ahead. On hearing the news that prisoners of war have been found alive in the South, a curious young boy Ahmed and his obstinate grandmother set out to uncover the fate of the boy's missing father, one of the many soldiers who never came home since the gulf war 1991. From the mountains of the North to the sands of Babylon, the pair hitch rides with strangers and cross paths with fellow pilgrims on an all too similar quest. As a grandmother struggles to accept an awful truth, Ahmed retraces the footsteps of a father he never knew. This is a journey that will not only connect them to the past, but will determine their lives forever.

I recommend EVERYONE to watch this show. The show really thought me one thing: To appreciate what i have now. Ahmed was such an innocent boy. I cannot say that i understand his pain eventhough we both lost our father but he went through a much , much more painful experience then me. And the pain he go through was too much for a 12-year-old to handle.

The story was not based on an actual account but it depicts the real world; what is actually happening in Iraq. I have never been so caught up with my emotions when i watch a movie. But this story really opened up my eyes. I am actually thankful i still have a roof over my head, a family, friends, food, water, MODE of TRANSPORT, yes i just said that. Watch the movie and then u will understand what i meant. As much as i think Singapore is so 'unjust', i have to be thankful that i still have a country that accept me. Right now, i'm still thinking what will happen to the boy Ahmed.

And for those of u who say eee..the story so boring...so sloww... eeww so dirteee.. U WHY ARE YOU EVEN LIVING? U SHOULD BE SHOT TO DEATH OMGOOSSSHHH PLS DO ME A FAVOUR N GO N DIEEEE.

One more advice: Before u enter the cinema to watch the movie, don't bring a packet of tissue. Bring a BOX of tissue. If not, u'll get snot and tears all over your hands and arms like i do.

Ahmed, please live on, exercise prudence, practice on your flute and be the musician that u want to be. And don't be a soldier.

hehe yesterday i watched MEGAMIND with my colleagues and ex-colleagues. The movie was a great laugh. I love Megamind! Story was a bit predictable. But great sense of humour which every Dreamworks movie has! Gonna buy when the dvd comes out. Oh an did i tell i have TONS of dvds that i have yet to buy? Argh. Have to buy them soooon.. For now enjoy the wallpapers! I LUV 3D animation movies!!! :oD

A DAEBAK to the max K-Pop Nite!

What a nite seriously. I want to spent my nite everyday like this! All the groups were so awesome we are all at the edge of our seats at the 1st few minutes an ended up standing up throughout the show!

1st few groups were F.T Island, followed by DGNA, then ZE:A, Infinite. I think F.T Island and Infinite are quite cool. Might give their songs a listen:) I didn't really know their songs so i was just waving my arms around and woo-ing all the way.The ZE:A and Infinite boys are like freakin' tall. I mean i was like almost at the last row but u know when u see their legs it's like freakin' long!

OMGAAh! When SHINee came out, the entire Expo Hall 2 literally stood up from their seats and SCREAMED! It was a freakin' epic moment. I was like Minho-ing!!! at the top of my voice when they came out! They sang Replay, Ring Ding Dong, Lucifer(everybody around me tried to dance like them hahahahahah!) and Hello(I like! Onew's powerful voice!). SNSD was like the fan-boy-dream-come-true kind of thing. I felt like fainting when they came on stage. They were so gorgeous! They sang Genie, OH!, Gee and Run Devil Run. There was this big group of fan-boys sitting behind me. When the girls came out, the boys were like the loudest at that area! They bought coned-horns(wat!?), long pink glow-sticks and bling-bling boards and all. One even screamed, "God! Tiffany u're so HAWT!''. hahahah true SNSD fans i guess? I wanted to laugh because they tried to sing Oh! like how the girls sang! I find it cute and weird at the same time.

I am SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad BIG BANG came to Singapore. I nearly knocked down a seat infront of me while singing and dancing to their songs! Everybody around me was like singing and dancing too. One girl even waved her glow-stick so hard it flew on top of another girl's head! They sang Gara Gara GO!!, Geotjimal, Number 1, Haru Haru acoustic vers, How Gee, Majimak Insa, Hands Up. 7 effin' song!T.O.P did the usual 2-finger circle thing during Geotjimal and everyone did the same! hahahhah. I luv Taeyang's and Daesung's voice live! Becoz it sounded the same on tv! GD's redhead is dope. Seungri look so fiiiine on stage too! Omg i love the BIG BANG boys GGAAAAHHH!

BIGBANG u guys better make your Korean comeback soon. U've been in Japan for too long dammit! Eventhough i like all your japanese songs more! N T.O.P should stop giving the sexy eye-stare in every pic they take. It's killing me >_<






Overall it was a freakin' DAEBAK nite! I'm so exhausted i want to sleep. And dream of SHINee, SNSD and BIGBANG performing on stage again! hahaha wth bye!

71-Into the Fire

Yeeaahhh finally got to watch the movie. I've been missing out on a lot of things lately. 71-Into the Fire is a war movie. It's base on a true account- about how 71 South Korean students soldiers fought in the war. i'm not really a fan of war movies because war-theme is ALWAYS depressing. In war movies people die every 15 minutes and that depresses me. I don't like to see people dying and i'm so glad i don't have to experience a war in my whole life...

TOP did a good job on the movie....HE IS SO CUTE! Actually i teared up at the end of the movie when all the students took a picture together. It was happy and sad moment at the same time. I cried at some other parts too... and I sure dun mind watching it again if it shows in the cinemas because tabi's acting in it~~! ;oD

Finally~~! I get to listen to their 'Magic Disk' album! Ajikan why are u so awesome!? I became an instant fan ever since their hit single 'Haruka Kanata' waaay back. I have no favorite album cuz i love them all! Magic Disk is their best yet. Glad they produce this album:) If they ever, which i doubt will NEVER ever happen, ever, ever come to Singapore for a concert, I will make sure i have the front-row stand ticket.

Nakamura Yusuke who did all their album jackets does the most amazing artwork ever. Check it out! Imma fan of his art too! :oD

I don't EFFIN' know why i love CNBLUE so much!

Title explains it all! I love BOTH songs! But my actual take is that they should sing more songs in pure Japanese language. N Korean. But more Japanese please! As much as i like 'I don't know why', i find it (sadly) retarded when they sang in English :( I'm sorry CNBLUE but yeah. But i still love the two singles! N the boys are so effin' GORGEOUS in their album. OMgossssshhhh Jonghyun wwwwhhhyyyyy aaaaaarrggghhh u are too cute.....! His pics make my day :D :D :D

CNBLUE POST!!

Hi! Rite now i feel like i am the most happiest person ever!! Coz yesterday and Friday i went for the CNBLUE Showcase cum fan-meet! I think i spazzed enough for these two days. omg i don't know where to start...NOTE: I may sound like a typical fan-girl, but this is how i feel when i VISUALLY saw them. N no photos allowed to be taken on the 2nd day:( So yeah sux but i managed to snap a few pics but they're not up close. So no point posting it up.

1st Day

I felt like the biggest noob as i didn't bring my digi cam on that day at City Square Mall. But u noe wat? i think looking at them with my naked eyes is much better than trying hard to take with my lousy iPhone coz me(and my cousins) were almost at the back (about 100 meters away from them). So yah when i tried taking a pic, i instantly gave up! Here's an example:

But one things for sure: they are very handsome. and TALL. the shortest among them was 180cm. That's really tall, considering that Asians are short. Even though it's far, i could tell their skin is so so flawless. They probably bring me, as a girl, to shame. I feel so ugly after seeing them! N they were so cute because they're such shy ppl. My attention was all focused on Jonghyun, duh! His smile is just so pretty. I was like screaming his name and waving my arms frantically at the back there. Me and my cousins were probably the loudest at the back there because OTHER Singaporean fans(at the back as well) are just so.... argh... ok lets just say they are the most unenthusiastic bunch of ppl.

2nd Day

The boys played around...7 songs? What i remembered was(not according to order) 'The Way~one time~', 'LOVE', 'Let's Go Crazy', 'Love Light', 'I'm a Loner', 'Love Revolution', 'Intro' from their 'Thank U' album and.... I'm a Loner teaser... ROCK VERSION... FULL Song! All the songs happen to be my faves so i was really glad they perform it. But 'I'm a Loner ~teaser~' was most fave yesterday because i love that version a lot! So when they played it i was head over heels!! Ok this video here is the teaser for the MV. And it featured.. Jonghyun! Just hear the guitar its not the full version though :)

Yonghwa's voice sounded as good as he was in the original and how he sounded on TV. That's why i love this band. Minhyuk is the friendliest among the bunch and Jungshin is just....so tall! N they look great on stage. Again i waved my arms frantically in the air hoping they will catch a glimpse. But sadly their official fanclub , BOICE( blue + voice(1 of the their track from their jap album)), are like the stupidest bunch of bimbos. Omg i won't even go there.... not worth talking about them.

Ok but the biggest noob-est thing that happen to me was when they left the place in their van. Do u freakin' know that i was just outside their van?! The day before the mini-live, i told myself,' ok if i was EVER stand anywhere near them, just be CALM and be cool and tell them that they are are the most awesome korean group ever.Yeah rite like that would happen'.... And THEN when the chance came, I just had to flash out my camera and wave like an idiot when their van drove pass. ARGH! Why Nad why!!? The worst was that when i watched the video that i took, the window van were tinted(duh) and u can't see the inside. Isn't it better if i just didn't take the camera out and just wave normally... Gosh i must have look retarded in front of them.

Now i really hope that they will come down here again with a REAL concert and i will confirm(+chop) will buy the most expensive ticket and support them. Not only because they are a good-looking bunch but i love their music as well! N hope Jonghyun will grow back his hair like in their Bluetory days. Ok imma be spammin' his pics here to show u how flawless their skin are! Like wat my cousin said...Japanese dood!!
